BuildFlow Basements is a brand operated by Kauai Capital II LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). We operate the website buildflowbasements.com. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you visit our Site or use our services.
We collect information you provide directly to us when you fill out forms on our Site, including your name, email address, phone number, home address, and details about your basement finishing project. We also collect information automatically when you visit our Site, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on each page.
We use the information we collect to respond to your inquiries and provide basement finishing design and estimation services; communicate with you about your project, including scheduling, design updates, and material selections; improve our website, services, and user experience; send you marketing communications about our services and offers, which you may opt out of at any time; and analyze website traffic and usage patterns to improve our Site.
We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage data about how visitors interact with our Site. These tools use cookies and similar technologies to track page views, session duration, and other engagement metrics. We also use retargeting technologies to display relevant advertisements to visitors who have previously visited our Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
When you visit certain pages of our Site from Minnesota or Wisconsin, we may share your IP address and the pages you viewed with a third-party data provider (Datazapp) to find a name and mailing or email address associated with your visit, so we can follow up with information about designing and pricing a basement. We use this information only to send you mail or email, never calls or text messages, and we do not sell it. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe. We may share your information with licensed construction partners in your area who perform the physical construction work on BuildFlow projects. We share only the information necessary for them to perform services you have requested. We may also share information with service providers who help us operate our business, such as analytics providers, email services, and hosting platforms. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
BuildFlow Basements sends SMS / text messages to mobile numbers that customers provide, in compliance with the TCPA, CTIA messaging principles, and U.S. carrier A2P 10DLC requirements. This section describes how we collect, use, and protect those numbers.
How we obtain your number and consent. We collect your mobile number and SMS consent when you type your own mobile number into a consultation, free-design, or estimate request form on buildflowbasements.com and tap the submit button. A consent notice is printed directly beneath that button, in view when you tap it, telling you that by tapping it you agree to receive text messages and calls from BuildFlow Basements about your project, including automated and AI-assisted messages; that message frequency varies; that message and data rates may apply; and that you can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. The pages that collect numbers, with screenshots, are listed at buildflowbasements.com/sms-consent. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service. We log each opt-in with a timestamp and the exact consent language shown.
What we send. Messages are about your own project — for example, the link to your design session and project page, consultation and appointment confirmations and reminders, estimate and scheduling updates, and replies to questions you send us. Message frequency varies based on your project activity (typically 2–8 messages a month).
Cost. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. BuildFlow Basements does not charge for the SMS messages we send.
How to opt out or get help. Reply STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message to stop receiving texts; you will receive one confirmation and then no further messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact us using the information below. You may reply START to opt back in.
Your mobile information is never shared for marketing. No mobile information — including your phone number and your SMS opt-in data and consent — will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share your number only with our telecommunications provider (Twilio) strictly to deliver messages on our behalf, under a data-processing agreement.
We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect your personal information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure data storage through Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Our Site integrates with third-party services including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Matterport (for 3D home tours), and Netlify (for hosting and form processing). Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review those policies.
You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion of your personal information, opt out of marketing communications at any time, and request that we stop processing your data for certain purposes.
